Sevenoaks is a wholesale nursery of bareroot and containerized plants native to the western United States. With Quaking Aspen as our specialty we grow more than 150,000 Populus tremuloides bareroot seedlings each year as well as large quantities in 1 to 20 gallon containers.

150 Native Plants
We add new native species to our plant list every year. If you don't see a native plant you are looking for, let us know. If we don't grow it, we may know another nursery who does.

Nursery Grown
Sevenoaks raises over 150 different species of native plants propagated from seed and cuttings. None of our plants are dug from the wild. All of our plants are hand harvested, we use no machinery to harvest. We guarantee that all our plants are healthy with the potential to grow for you, the customer, when shipped. We are careful to keep our varieties true to name and our customers are pleased with our high quality trees, shrubs, and bulbs.

Site Specific
For customers who need to know the source of plant material, we keep records of origin. This information is also useful for determining winter hardiness or meeting mitigation requirements.

Roots to Grow On
All our bareroot plants are grown in raised sand beds. Roots thrive in sand and at harvest the sand shakes off clean, leaving abundant fibrous roots intact. This sand bed system is why Sevenoaks can boast of "Roots to Grow On!"

Container and Bareroot
Bareroot plants are available December to March. We only sell bareroot plants in full bundle quantities. We do have cold storage that allows us to hold some bareroot plants into late April and early May as long as we know early enough to get them into storage and keep them dormant.
